Blogger has been used for over a year now and in that time the success - measured by student useage - has been mixed.
One of the reasons for setting up blogs was to encourage students to 'extend their learing time'. I have come to the conclusion that if a class does not have access to computers during class time they do not use the blog outside of class time. This has implications for courses run entirely on-line.
The newest blog is for HN Beauty Therapy students. The quizes have been popular and the students have requested more quizes.

This Blog was written for Numeracy Tutors or anyone else who is thinking of using Blogs to support students. It will show how Blogging was used in practice in Clydebank College to support Numeracy, Maths and Access to Nursing Students. I also use the site to experiment.
