Worth a listen. Brian Butterworth states that the curriculum in schools is such that potential mathematicians are put off because they get turned off by calculations such as long division before they every reach mathematics. How true!
This Blog was written for Numeracy Tutors or anyone else who is thinking of using Blogs to support students. It will show how Blogging was used in practice in Clydebank College to support Numeracy, Maths and Access to Nursing Students. I also use the site to experiment.
