The Future

• At the time of writing, I intend to have a Blog for every class I teach. There is not enough time to prepare new Blogs from scratch for every class so there is a way round this. An existing Blog for the same unit and occupational area can be used. Change all the entries to draft. Take out references to the previous class or students. Then change the date of publication. The students will think I am burning the midnight oil just for them!
• I might give Wordpress another try. I found it very slow but it does have the facility to upload Word documents which would mean that worksheets could be put on the web.
• At the time of writing if could not get college webspace for documents. The college now has increased capacity to this might be possible in the future.
• I would like to put 'Mock Nabs' onto the web. The Higher Maths students have Practice Nabs which are almost identical to the actual Nabs on the web so why not have the same for Numeracy students?
• Prepare Powerpoint Presentations for some of the lessons and add these to the Blogs.
