Blogging for Numeracy - Introduction

The web is a vast resource of materials for the teaching of numeracy. The sheer size of the resource means that it is not feasible for learners to find appropropriate materials without some direction. Blogging is a quick and easy way for a tutor to focus the learners to carefully selected sites.

What is a Blog?

.....a blog is a type of website that is usually arranged in chronological order from the most recent ‘post’ (or entry) at the top of the main page to the older entries towards the bottom.

The key thing about a Blog is that 'newest' items go to the top. The start of the Blog is at the bottom or in the archives.

Now go to the bottom of the Blog and work up to the top.
