I have only one numeracy class at the moment - Level 5 for Sports Coaching. I have been doing the refreshed Core Skills unit and have hit a problem. If I apply the assessment rules to the letter I would be failing students who would have undoubtedly passed Int 2 Numeracy. Getting 3 questions in outcome 1 completely correct is asking a lot of the students. There are only two Blogs running at the moment:
Sports Coaching and Electro-cosmetic Therapy
This Blog was written for Numeracy Tutors or anyone else who is thinking of using Blogs to support students. It will show how Blogging was used in practice in Clydebank College to support Numeracy, Maths and Access to Nursing Students. I also use the site to experiment.
